Delivery status
Definition of parcel statuses that you'll find in the Manage Orders tab (in the column - Status)
Pending
The Pending status indicates that ZigZag has received an order with fulfillment (a package) but no tracking number has been received yet.
Awaiting 1st event
This status applies when the package number has been uploaded to ZigZag, and we are waiting for the first event from the carrier.
This status is normal just after an order has been uploaded to ZigZag, as shipment of the package has not yet begun.
When you created the tracking number, it was automatically sent to the carrier. This status indicates that the carrier has not yet acknowledged receipt of the tracking number.
If this status persists, it may mean that we are unable to track the package.
Info received
This status indicates that the carrier has acknowledged receipt of the package tracking number. This status precedes acceptance of the parcel by the carrier.
In transit
This status applies when the package number has been uploaded to ZigZag, and we are waiting for the first event from the carrier. It is linked to notifications in the category Parcel shipped
Exception
This status applies to all kinds of incidents:
- Lost package
- Damaged package
- Package awaiting information
- etc.
Failed attempt
This status concerns all packages whose delivery has failed :
- Customer absence
- Address problem
- etc.
This status is linked to notifications in the category Failed delivery attempt
At pickup
This status is applied as soon as the package is at the pickup point and awaiting collection by the customer.
This status is linked to the notifications of the category Pickup points
Delivered
This status refers to a package that has been delivered. This includes:
- Picked up by the customer at the relay point
- Delivered to the customer at home
- Delivered to a third party (janitor, neighbors)
This status is linked to notifications in the category Package delivered
Return
This status applies to all packages that are returned to sender following a delivery failure such as:
- Incomplete address
- Absent addressee
- Delivery refusal
- Failure to collect the parcel from the relay point within the allotted time
This status is linked to notifications in the category Other incidents
Delayed
This status applies when the estimated delivery date (EDD) you configured in the Expected Delivery Date' tab in ZigZag has passed, and the package is still undelivered.
This status is linked to the Intelligent Status notification Package delayed.
Expired
This status applies when we have not received any new carrier events for a certain number of days.
The default number of days is set up at 45.
