Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

ยท 2 min read

๐Ÿš€ Summaryโ€‹

Security is a top priority, and with this release we have taken a major step forward by introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). From now on, when logging in with your email and password, you will also be required to enter a verification code sent to your email. This additional step helps protect your account.

โœจ What is Newโ€‹

Features:

  • ๐Ÿ†• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Every login attempt using email and password will now trigger a one-time code sent to your registered email address. This must be entered to complete the login process, adding a second layer of security.

๐Ÿ“˜ How it Works

The MFA process is seamless and quick:

  1. Enter your email and password as usual
  2. Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code
  3. Enter the code to complete your login

If you do not receive your code, there is an option to resend it. If the issue persists, please contact support through the "Open a Ticket" feature.

๐Ÿ“Œ Notes

  • We are now also supporting federated authentication (SSO) for organisations that prefer centralised access control
  • If you are interested in setting up SSO for your company, please reach out to your Account Manager for more information
  • MFA is automatically enabled for all users - there is no setup required
  • All hubs will require MFA to access
