Flat File

Overview​

To integrate with ZigZag, retailers provide daily order exports via FTPS or SFTP for import into the ZigZag Admin Portal. Tracking updates can also be returned to the retailer using the same method.

The daily feed ensures we have accurate details of what has been shipped to the buyer, including:

  • Order Number
  • Customer Name and Address
  • Product Information
  • Images

This data enables us to process returns efficiently and maintain accurate records.

How to Provide the Feed​

  • File Formats Accepted - CSV, XLS, or XML
  • Frequency - Daily
  • Initial Setup - For launch, please provide 30–60 days of order history, followed by a daily dispatch file thereafter.

  • Need Help - We need your orders feed to be sent through with our prerequisite headers - an example file can be found within the Flat File documentation; if you need advice regarding the formatting or layout of your file we would be happy to assist
  • Request SFTP Location - Contact your account manager to request SFTP location. We typically create the location within 1 working day.
