Return to Store

Overview

The Return to Store feature allows customers to conveniently return items to a local store of their choice. They can select a preferred location using the Drop-off Locator map or opt for any store that suits their needs.

How does it work

Once implemented, retailers have two options for uploading store listings to ZigZag:

  • Daily via flat file - Upload files daily to ZigZag sFTP Retailer Directory - Return to Store Feed
  • via API - this way any updates or newly added stores are instantly reflected in the customer portal - Return to Store API

Once the store listings are provided to ZigZag, the retailer's customers can select a store using an interactive map as well as view store details including address, opening hours, and distance from their location.

When initiating a return, customers receive a paperless QR code to present in-store. This code may represent one of the following identifiers:

Warehouse Reference Number Return ID Retailer Order Number

Finally, the retailer receives a notification as part of the Return Requested reporting, which includes the Store ID (if the store listing has been uploaded).
